Having run this website for awhile now, this is the question I have been asked the most. The answer can be yes or no depending on what you feel a scam entails.

Most World of Warcraft leveling guides are just poorly made, and many people consider paying for a product of low quality to be a scam. Most of these guides were found on eBay when ebay still allowed digital sales of ebooks and guides. I myself was scammed several times by these low quality guides before I found one I really thought was useable and of good quality.

There are great guides for both Horde and Alliance, and some guides even include detailed guides for different professions. So my personal answer is, no. Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide - Joana’s guide is a wonderful guide for all horde players. The guide is easy to follow, includes a map mod to help you find your way around the World of Warcraft, and includes many extra’s that will help with different professions and classes. This is highly recommended  for anyone who plays exclusively horde.

Brian Kopp’s Alliance Leveling Guide - Brian Kopp’s guide is probably the best guide on the market for players who play as Alliance. The guide is detailed and was one of the first great guides to hit the market. Although the guide has now been surpassed in value, it is the most suited for alliance players. So if you play exclusively Alliance, this is the guide for you.

Zygor 2 Faction Level Guide - While Zygor’s guide is still great for it’s value, it has definitely been surpassed by the competition. Sometimes it can be a little bit harder to follow than the other guides and many of our guide tester’s have leveled slightly slower using this guide than the guide’s mentioned above. Still great to take a look at and decide for yourself whether or not it’s right for you.

Zygor Guides is one of the best selling level guides on the market. They provide guides for both the alliance and horde factions and claim to show you how to level your character in under 6 days time. We have also recorded one of our testers taking only 56 hours from levels 60-70. This guide will also provide a custom map mod guiding you in the correct direction at all times, with waypoints to help you guide your way.

The only problem with the Zygor leveling guide is that it can get pretty dull, and sometimes I have had problems with the guide freezing the game. This only happens about once every 15 loads, but it does get rather annoying after a certain amount of time.

Overall the guide is fairly well done, but seems to be lacking certain small features and aspects that other guides such as the IDemise guide seem to have down. I still recomend the guide to anyone looking to play more cost effective, and get a 2 faction guide. Certainly better than most guides not he market, but still not top of the line.

This would make an excellent alternatives for newbies who are looking for something simple and slightly less complicated than other guides currently available for a similar price.

While Brad Johnson’s guide was not the first of it’s kind, it has definitely risen to become one fo the most useful gold guide’s on the internet. With 7 different seperate guides encompassing all the different areas of the game in which you can earn gold, it is definitely worth the money.

Although the layout of the guide is not as fancy as others, the information is still there to help you achieve a huge amount of gold. Two of the WarcraftLevelGuide testers were able to reach 5,000+ Gold within one week of using the product.

Another great thing about Warcraft Millionaire is that it is also geared towards newer players who want to begin earning Gold as soon as possible. While a new player may not be able to earn as much as a character with higher level, they certainly will be able to earn more than most other characters who are within the same level range as themselves.

The instructions are laid out in a ’step-by-step’ manner, are are fairly easy to follow. My only complaint is that some of the explanations can be a little over explained and come off as a little wordy. But, I guess nothing is wrong with more content. Joana’s is world renowned for her Horde leveling guide. It is definitely the best Horde leveling guide on the market today, and allows players to level from level 1 to level 70 very quickly.

Joana’s guide has been one of the easiest guides to use that I have ever used. Links to thotbot resources are included with the guide and there is a ‘Follow Joana’s Footsteps’ features that allows you to do exactly as she did when she created the guide.

Joana’s guide is very unique and has been the most ‘easy to follow’ guide that I have ever used. The guide is also very detailed, and truly tells you step by step what you shold do next in order to level effectively and quickly in Azeroth.

The one critical problem this guide has is that it’s a Horde-only guide. If this guide covered both factions it would easily be the best guide on the market, and is already the best guide on the market for horde players. If you are looking for a great alliance guide I would recomend Brian Kopp’s guide.

Brian Kopp’s alliance guide is the best guide out there for new players looking to break into the game and have af ull understanding of how to level and how the game works. His guide features many of the same great features as other guides out there on the market today including the a map mod, detailed instructions for quests and grinding.

Brian Kopp is a professional gamer, and has been so since Beta. His love for the game is apparent in his work, this guide is very detailed and very professionally done. The Map Mod almost walks with you as it takes you to all of the different locations with Azeroth that you will need to visit in order to level quickly and effectively.

Every quest that you will have to complete is going to be linked to in thotbot, giving you another guide to follow and heldp you complete your quests. Over the last 2 years or so, this guide has gotten exponentially better, and continues to grow and prosper with updates for each new patch and expansion release. You can be sure that this will be a safe purchase.

With this guide our testers have reported being able to go from level 1-70 in as little as 7 days and 6 hours. That is a full day slower than the IDemise Guide but, is still fast compared to other guides. The only downside of this guide is that it is for the Alliance faction only, and is not available as a horde guide. If you would like both I would recomend the IDemise Guide.
